Quick Activity for Kids:

Pinecone Bird Feeder

Materials:
pinecone
string
peanut butter or honey
birdseed
Paper Lunch Sack

Steps:

1. Find a large open pinecone.
2. Tie a string around the stem of the pinecone to make a hanger.
3. Spread peanut butter or honey into the openings of the cone.
